2005 and 2006..
What a great weekend, a bit lacking in physical support,
(we need more interested people regardless of experience).
Anyone who is interested can join in, regardless of any club, or radio knowledge
VHF/UHF field day is the same weekend every year, the first (whole) weekend of July
Operators however need to be in a club affiliated to the RSGB or actually be an RSGB member.
But its not neccessary if you want to check log, assist in the running, putting up or taking down or just generally socialise (bring beer)
We have a good clean flat site, (no cow pats) a good friendly bunch of idiots (Hams, CBers, girlfriends and some wives), good weather as the pictures show.
If you are interested please contact SBARC at the folk house whitchurch on a wednesday evening or send me an e-mail.
If you want to stay overnight, bring a tent, caravan or something. We will be on site from the saturday morning from about 10am, until sunday afternoon about 5pm.

The entrance to the field (left), and a view of the empty site, with one of my relatives in the pic.
All set up with a view of the take-off to the south (very picture-sque..)
Operators tent in the forground, restraunt tent to the rear

Sleeping quarters for the rabble on the left, Matts setup (right)
